Job description

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and ontologies within the Palantir Foundry platform

Build and deploy custom Foundry applications using Slate, Workshop, and OSDK to support operational workflows and end-user interaction

Develop front-end components for Foundry applications using React and TypeScript through Foundry's OSDK framework

Configure and manage Foundry components including Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, Ontology, Workshop, Slate, and OSDK
-
Integrate data from multiple structured and unstructured sources into Foundry for analysis and operational use

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate mission and business requirements into scalable data applications

Develop intuitive and user-friendly application interfaces that enable data-driven decision-making
-
Perform data cleansing, validation, and enrichment to ensure high data quality and usability

Optimize pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues across the Foundry ecosystem

Document data flows, application logic, and system architecture to support maintainability and governance

Support testing, deployment, and user adoption of Foundry-based solutions in production environments
Requirements
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree
- THREE (3) or more years of experience in data engineering, data development, or data science roles
- Experience with Palantir Foundry, including application development using Slate, Workshop, and OSDK (preferred)
- Experience working with Foundry modules such as Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, Ontology, and data integration tools
- Experience developing front-end applications using React and TypeScript, preferably within a data platform environment
- Experience in Python, SQL, and/or R for data transformation, analysis, and application logic
- Experience applying data science techniques, including statistical analysis, data modeling, or exploratory data analysis
- Ability to work onsite in a client environment as required
What Will Be Nice to Have:
- Experience working with large, complex datasets across multiple systems and formats
- Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating across technical teams
- Ability to translate user needs into functional data products and applications
- Experience supporting government or defense clients (Navy experience preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in data validation, testing, and optimization
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and data architecture best practices
