Job description

We are seeking an Incident Management Analyst to join our Enterprise Incident Management team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong operations or command center background who is ready to grow into a lead Incident Manager role. Unlike a traditional Network Operations Center (NOC) position, this role is focused on coordinating, managing, and driving the resolution of enterprise technology incidents. The ideal candidate has experience supporting or leading incident response, excels in high-pressure situations, and has the communication and organizational skills to coordinate technical teams during service disruptions. During the first several months, you will support experienced Incident Managers while learning our processes. As you demonstrate proficiency, you will begin leading non-major incidents independently and ultimately grow into managing major enterprise incidents., * Support Incident Managers during major and high-visibility technology incidents.

  • Coordinate communications across technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Document incident timelines, actions, decisions, and key updates in real time.
  • Coordinate technical resources and facilitate incident response activities.
  • Manage communications through established incident channels and notification processes.
  • Escalate and engage the appropriate technical teams to accelerate issue resolution.
  • Lead non-major incidents independently after completing onboarding and training.
  • Develop the skills necessary to manage major enterprise incidents as an Incident Commander.
  • Collaborate closely with the Problem Management team to support root cause analysis and continuous service improvement.
  • Follow established incident management processes while helping improve operational effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Experience in Incident Management, Major Incident Management, or a similar command-and-control operations role.
  • Experience working in an enterprise IT operations environment.
  • Strong ability to coordinate multiple technical teams during critical incidents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to document events accurately under pressure.
  • Ability to prioritize work and remain calm in fast-paced, high-severity situations.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, applications, and cloud environments.
