Sr. SharePoint Online Administrator

Connsci is seeking a Sr. SharePoint Online/Power Platform Administrator to work in support of one of our federal clients. This individual will provide senior-level administration, solution development, and governance support for SharePoint Online and the Power Platform within a Microsoft 365 GCC High shared tenant environment., SharePoint Online Administration:

• Administer SharePoint Online as Site Collection Administrator

• Manage site provisioning, hub alignment, permissions, and external sharing

• Enforce governance and coordinate changes with tenant administrators Power Platform Administration:

• Manage Power Platform environments, configurations, and connectors

• Monitor usage, solutions, and risk indicators for compliance Governance & Controls:

• Implement CoE-based governance practices

• Oversee solution intake, maker enablement, and lifecycle tracking

• Prevent shadow IT and solution sprawl Solution Design & Development:

• Design, build, test, and deploy solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and AI Builder

• Ensure accessibility (Section 508), compliance, and documentation Application Lifecycle Management (ALM):

• Manage source control, pipelines, and environment promotion using Azure DevOps

• Enforce versioning, change control, and deployment standards Security & Compliance:

• Apply role-based access and least-privilege principles

• Support audits, security reviews, and compliance efforts

• Coordinate with cybersecurity and enterprise stakeholders Operations & Support:

• Provide incident response, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform support

• Deliver user training and maintain documentation (SOPs, knowledge base)

• Continuously improve governance and support processes

Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

• At least 5 years of experience in SharePoint Online administration
• At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform
• At least 1 year of Azure DevOps experience
• At least 1 year of experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit or equivalent governance tooling
• Current Top Secret, DOE Q, or Public Trust High Risk Tier 4 clearance, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Solution Architect Expert; or SharePoint Administrator/Developer certification.
• Experience in GCC or GCC High environments.
• An understanding of SPO security and complex permissions structure.
• Dataverse data modeling and security role design experience
• Experience with JSON formatting, Power Fx, and modern SharePoint page design

Location: This role allows for primarily remote work. However, occasional onsite attendance is required for meetings, coordination activities, and other Government-directed work. The office location is in Washington, DC and is Metro and rail accessible.
