Job description
Connsci is seeking a Sr. SharePoint Online/Power Platform Administrator to work in support of one of our federal clients. This individual will provide senior-level administration, solution development, and governance support for SharePoint Online and the Power Platform within a Microsoft 365 GCC High shared tenant environment., SharePoint Online Administration:

Administer SharePoint Online as Site Collection Administrator

Manage site provisioning, hub alignment, permissions, and external sharing

Enforce governance and coordinate changes with tenant administrators Power Platform Administration:
-
Manage Power Platform environments, configurations, and connectors
-
Monitor usage, solutions, and risk indicators for compliance Governance & Controls:
-
Implement CoE-based governance practices
-
Oversee solution intake, maker enablement, and lifecycle tracking
-
Prevent shadow IT and solution sprawl Solution Design & Development:
-
Design, build, test, and deploy solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and AI Builder

Ensure accessibility (Section 508), compliance, and documentation Application Lifecycle Management (ALM):
-
Manage source control, pipelines, and environment promotion using Azure DevOps

Enforce versioning, change control, and deployment standards Security & Compliance:
-
Apply role-based access and least-privilege principles

Support audits, security reviews, and compliance efforts

Coordinate with cybersecurity and enterprise stakeholders Operations & Support:
-
Provide incident response, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform support

Deliver user training and maintain documentation (SOPs, knowledge base)

Continuously improve governance and support processes
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in SharePoint Online administration
- At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform
- At least 1 year of Azure DevOps experience
- At least 1 year of experience with Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit or equivalent governance tooling
- Current Top Secret, DOE Q, or Public Trust High Risk Tier 4 clearance, Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Solution Architect Expert; or SharePoint Administrator/Developer certification.
- Experience in GCC or GCC High environments.
- An understanding of SPO security and complex permissions structure.
- Dataverse data modeling and security role design experience
- Experience with JSON formatting, Power Fx, and modern SharePoint page design
Location: This role allows for primarily remote work. However, occasional onsite attendance is required for meetings, coordination activities, and other Government-directed work. The office location is in Washington, DC and is Metro and rail accessible.
