Field Cable Installer / Network Technician

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Network Cabling & Security Installation Technician to join our team. This is a field-based position responsible for installing and supporting network infrastructure, security cameras, and wireless systems at commercial customer sites. If you enjoy hands-on work, have basic networking knowledge, and are looking to grow your technical skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Install, run, and terminate network cabling.
• Install IP security cameras and wireless access points.
• Perform basic network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Connect to customer systems remotely to provide basic networking support when in the office.
• Use hand and power tools to complete installations safely and efficiently.
• Drive a company vehicle to customer locations throughout the service area.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service on job sites.

• Basic understanding of computer networking.
• Knowledge of network switches and basic network connectivity.
• Ability to change IP addresses and perform basic network configuration.
• Comfortable using hand tools and performing physical work, including pulling and terminating cable.
• Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Networking coursework from a community college is acceptable; a bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Networking-related education or experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred
