Job description
- Manage day-to-day network engineering operations, including standards, enhancements, patches, and operating procedures, to optimize availability, performance, security, and functionality.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of network systems, subsystems, and related resources supporting the firm's internal environment, including communications equipment and end-user connectivity.
- Serve as the network Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing technical leadership and direction for incident and problem management, change execution, and strategic initiatives.
- Supervise assigned staff by setting priorities, coaching performance, ensuring documentation and compliance, and enforcing security and operational best practices.
Requirements
This is a hands-on leadership role suited for a professional who thrives on challenges, excels in organization, time and resource management, and is an effective communicator. A bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, business, informatics, or a related technology field is required, along with at least six years of full-time experience in network administration or network engineering with progressively more senior and complex responsibilities.

Where a successful applicant is slotted within this range will vary based on legitimate criteria, such as experience and skill level.
