Job description
- Create and maintain data visualization and statistical analysis tools that increase understanding of factory data.
- Write scripts to convert non-standard test data (excel, access, text, etc.) into a standardized text-based format.
- Work with customers to ensure their data is used to reduce process variation and improve factory test yields.
- Experience with factory test data, supporting Raytheon Missiles and Defense program needs as required in a fast-paced, multi-task work
- Use agile software development methods, provide imaginative, thorough, and practicable solutions to a wide range of difficult technical problems.
- Travel to factories in Tucson, AZ
Requirements
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date, * Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
- Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Perl, C, C++, C#, Java etc).
- Experience with web application development.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Python based data inquiry (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, etc)
- Exposure to statistical methods and tools such as: Minitab, R, JMP, or SAS, etc.
- Proven knowledge of database design and software architecture principles
- Strong understanding of MSSQL, MariaDB or ANSI standard SQL
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Core/Six Sigma, and statistical process control
- Angular/React/jQuery or similar JavaScript-based framework
- CompTIA Security+ certification
Benefits & conditions
The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
