As the Data Science & Insights Analyst, you'll help transform data into actionable insights that shape marketing strategy and drive growth across the National Notary Association. Partnering closely with the Sr. Manager of Data Science & Insights, you'll analyze performance, identify trends, build dashboards and forecasts, and provide recommendations that support Program Marketing, Channel & Lifecycle Marketing, Digital Experience, Customer Experience, and executive leadership.
You'll work with data across sales, revenue, profitability, customer behavior, marketing campaigns, lifecycle performance, and digital experiences to help teams understand what's working, where opportunities exist, and how to improve results. You'll also contribute to reporting, forecasting, automation, measurement practices, and the continued evolution of AI-enabled analytics and business insights.

- Develop Insights through Proactive Interpretation of Sales and Marketing Reports
- Prepare and review weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for leadership, Program, Channel, and operational stakeholders with management oversight
- Interpret sales, marketing, customer, and channel performance data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and actionable insights
- Support sales projections, forecasts, and scenario models in partnership with Program Managers, Channel Managers, and the Sr. Manager, Data Science and Insights
- Identify, track, and communicate leading performance indicators that help teams make proactive business decisions
- Support Program and Channel teams to evaluate campaign performance, customer behavior, offer performance, and growth opportunities
- Use AI-enabled tools and advanced analytics methods to support market analysis, trend identification, and performance forecasting
- Contribute to models and analytical approaches that improve targeting, channel performance, and customer engagement
- Contribute to the Expansion of the NNA's Advanced Analytics Initiatives
- Contribute to predictive modeling, segmentation, forecasting, and advanced analytics projects
- Help automate repeatable reports and dashboards for organizational stakeholders
- Assist with integrating and validating new data sources to improve visibility into the company's performance
- Support the organization and documentation of shared data sets, definitions, and reporting resources
- Partner with the Sr. Manager to improve data quality, consistency, and usability across reporting environments
- Enhance Customer Experience and Engagement Through Analytics
- Analyze customer behavior, journey, and cross-channel interaction data to identify friction points and improvement opportunities
- Support dashboards and reporting related to customer engagement, satisfaction, conversion, retention, and lifecycle performance
- Help evaluate the impact of CX, personalization, lifecycle, and digital experience initiatives
- Enhance Operational Efficiency Through Automation
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring reports, manual data tasks, and performance monitoring
- Support and troubleshoot automated reporting processes and dashboards
- Provide first-level support for internal stakeholders related to report access, data questions, and reporting issues
- Support Innovation and Foster Continuous Improvement
- Stay current on trends, tools, and methods in analytics, AI, data science, and marketing measurement
- Recommend improvements to reporting, forecasting, dashboarding, and analytical methods
- Support testing and refinement of new approaches that improve insight quality, speed, accuracy, and business usability

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or related field preferred; diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in analytics, reporting, data science, business intelligence, marketing analytics, or a related field
- Strong sense of curiosity and internal motivation to learn, understand, and solve problems
- Strong working knowledge of spreadsheet software, such as Excel or Google Sheets
- Working knowledge of SQL or other query tools; experience with PowerQuery preferred
- Experience with data visualization or dashboarding tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar
- Familiarity with statistical analysis, forecasting, segmentation, or analytical modeling; experience with Python or R preferred
- Understanding of marketing, customer experience, sales, operations, or customer service reporting preferred
- Exposure to advanced analytics, machine learning, or AI-enabled analysis preferred
- Ability to translate data into clear findings, practical recommendations, and actionable insights for business stakeholders
- Comfortable preparing and presenting reports, findings, and recommendations to managers and cross-functional teams
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to clarify business questions, align on definitions, and explain reporting or analysis results
- Ability to effectively collaborate in an environment that values creativity and flexibility
- Self-starter with the ability to quickly adapt to change within a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, * Must be local to the Chatsworth, CA area and able to work onsite as needed
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
