Job description

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer for a fully remote contract-to-hire opportunity. This role will support strategic Sales Cloud and Service Cloud initiatives by designing scalable Salesforce automation, optimizing CRM performance, and simplifying existing business processes., The ideal candidate is a Salesforce Flow expert with strong Apex development experience who understands when to leverage declarative automation versus custom code. This individual will partner closely with Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, and business stakeholders to reduce technical debt, improve CRM efficiency, and deliver scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions., Evaluate business requirements and determine when Salesforce Flow or Apex is the most scalable and maintainable solution. * Review, simplify, and consolidate existing Flows to reduce technical debt and eliminate redundant automation. * Design and enhance Sales Cloud automation supporting: + Leads + Accounts + Contacts + Opportunities + Campaign Members + Tasks + Events * Build activity management automation, including task creation, event automation, assignment logic, reminders, activity tracking, and reporting. * Improve CRM data quality through duplicate prevention, lead and contact enrichment, validation rules, required field enforcement, ownership updates, and lead routing. * Design automation supporting accurate reporting, dashboards, lifecycle tracking, lead scoring, forecasting, and executive reporting. * Support Salesforce integrations using REST APIs, External IDs, Upserts, and synchronization troubleshooting. * Follow Salesforce development best practices, including sandbox testing, deployment management, documentation, permission management, Profiles, and Field-Level Security (FLS). * Participate in testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support activities. * Collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.

Requirements

5+ years of Salesforce development experience. * Extensive experience designing and implementing complex Salesforce Flow automation. * Strong Apex development experience, including: + Apex Triggers + SOQL + Invocable Apex + Test Classes + Bulkified development * Hands-on experience supporting Salesforce Sales Cloud. * Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and automation best practices. * Experience reducing technical debt and simplifying existing Salesforce environments. * Knowledge of Salesforce security, Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles, and Field-Level Security (FLS). * Experience with Salesforce deployments, sandbox management, testing, and release management. * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications * Experience supporting Sales Operations or Revenue Operations teams. * Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party business applications. * Experience with Tableau, Clay, HubSpot, or other sales enablement and analytics platforms. * Salesforce certifications are highly preferred, including
