Nexeo Staffing is recruiting for an innovative technology team seeking a Platform Engineer with experience in DevSecOps, cloud-native technologies, containerization, and graph database platforms. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, automating processes, and building reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, collaborate across teams, and contribute to the ongoing development of modern platform solutions supporting critical business applications., * Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern DevSecOps best practices.
- Support Git-based workflows, artifact management, security integrations, and containerized workloads.
- Develop automation solutions using scripting languages and AI-enabled tools to improve platform performance and operational efficiency.
- Provide platform and DevOps support for Neo4j graph database environments, including deployments, upgrades, configuration management, and system maintenance.
- Deploy, manage, and support containerized applications utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues involving storage, networking, load balancers, firewalls, and security groups.
- Monitor system health and performance by analyzing logs, metrics, and monitoring data.
- Participate in incident response efforts and assist with root-cause analysis and problem resolution.
- Document operational procedures, platform standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to maintain a secure and reliable platform ecosystem.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Systems Administration.
- Experience building, deploying, maintaining, and scaling Neo4j environments and related applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and Helm.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes distributions, preferably RKE; OpenShift or similar platforms are also acceptable.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and AppDynamics.
- General cloud infrastructure knowledge required.
- Preferred: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience.
- Understanding of Container Storage Interface (CSI) technologies.
- Preferred: Portworx CSI experience.
- Working knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Exposure to API gateways and API management solutions.
- Understanding of security fundamentals, including TLS, certificates, and secrets management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and a desire to grow technically in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for building secure, scalable, and highly available platforms.
Benefits & conditions
$80.00 - $84.15 per hour
