Job description
As a Data Collection Hardware Process Engineer, you will collaborate on the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of internal data collection tools and processes. You will design and implement equipment improvements and workstation layouts while working closely with operations teams through a continuous feedback loop. By constantly evaluating and refining our data collection devices and workflows, you will help streamline operations and push the boundaries of robotics data collection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams-including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Packaging Engineering, Logistics, Production Planning, and Software-to design and improve all aspects of our operations

Analyze data from multiple sources toidentifyand drive improvements to data collection hardware

Partner with engineers to design and refine CAD models in preparation for production

Define equipment requirements based on established processes

Develop and implement SOPs for prototype data collection units

Learn andleveragevarious service and fleet tracking tools tomonitorfleet status and drive retrofit initiatives
Requirements

2+ years of experience with CAD, continuous improvement methodologies, or additive manufacturing

Experience analyzing data using Excel, SQL, or similar analytical tools

Proficiencyin AutoCAD or CATIA, with the ability to quickly integrate changes into designs ahead of mass production

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a proven ability to work through complex problem-solving

Demonstrated experienceidentifyingroot causes of problems and implementing effective solutions

Previousexperience working in engineering or manufacturing environments

Expected Compensation $84,000 - $180,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
