Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist (ETL Developer) to support enterprise data warehouse initiatives by designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining robust ETL/ELT solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle Database 12c+, PL/SQL, and data warehouse architecture. This role also requires technical leadership experience and familiarity with Criminal Justice systems., * Manage and maintain ETL/ELT solutions for enterprise data warehouse projects.

  • Perform ETL application analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
  • Develop and maintain data integration processes, data structures, and reporting solutions.
  • Analyze source data and prepare logical and physical data models.
  • Design and implement efficient ETL workflows using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Serve as the primary ETL technical liaison with infrastructure teams to resolve application performance and technical issues.
  • Coordinate performance testing, failover planning, endurance testing, deployment planning, and implementation activities.
  • Provide oversight for ETL development activities, including data analysis, testing, and deployment.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, schemas, architecture documents, and implementation guides.

Requirements

  • 72 months of hands-on experience developing ETL/ELT solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Strong experience developing Mappings, Packages, Scenarios, and Procedures in ODI.
  • 72 months of experience creating ETL technical documentation including:
  • Source-to-Target Mapping Documents
  • ETL Design Documents
  • Technical Specifications
  • Use Cases
  • Software Architecture Documents
  • Implementation Documents
  • 72 months of experience writing and tuning SQL and PL/SQL.
  • Extensive experience with:
  • Oracle Database 12c or higher
  • Tables
  • Views
  • Indexes
  • Procedures
  • Functions
  • Triggers
  • Packages
  • 72 months of experience working with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c or later.
  • 60 months of experience serving as a Technical Team Lead for Data Warehouse and ETL platform architecture.
  • Experience in enterprise Data Warehouse architecture and ETL best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing, implementing, and integrating Criminal Justice systems.
  • Familiarity with State or Federal Criminal Justice business processes.
  • Knowledge of Criminal Justice terminology and nomenclature.
  • Experience working within large government or public sector environments.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale data warehouse platforms.
