Job description
We are seeking a Linux System Administrator who is willing to learn GCCS-J and fill a hybrid role of Test Engineer and Fielding Engineer. In the tester role, the candidate will install & configure GCCS-J, write & execute test plans, and thoroughly document defects. In the Fielding Engineer role, the candidate will deliver demos and training, serve as the primary point of contact for GCCS-J customer issues, and handle installation, configuration, loading, and troubleshooting of complex multi-application systems. They will track and escalate problems, coordinate with dispersed development teams, lead technical investigations, and advise the government on integrating GCCS-J functionality into new baselines. A large part of this work will be done at customer sites around the world. Program Summary GCCS-J is the DoD's Joint Command and Control system of record, delivering a fused, real-time battlespace picture to commanders and warfighters. The modernization effort focuses on cloud-native architecture, microservices, enhanced data integration, improved user experience, and alignment with JADC2 objectives.
Requirements
Travel: Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS 25% or more Position Type: Full-Time Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI, * Experience with Linux System Administration.

- Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Active Interim Secret clearance., * Experience with RHEL 8 System Administration.
- Experience with GCCS-J or Joint C2 systems.
- Experience with Military Operations.
- Knowledge of intelligence data flows and geospatial formats.
- Experience as operator or system administrator for GCCS-J or Joint C2 systems.
- TS/SCI clearance.
