Job description

We are seeking a Cloud Security Analyst for our Federal Government customer at the client location in Rosslyn VA.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in cloud security, architecture, or operations within a government or enterprise environment.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and knowledge of FedRAMP compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in cloud security tools, such as CloudTrail, Azure Security Center, or Prisma Cloud, and concepts like identity and access management (IAM).
  • Proficiency in security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks).
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of incident response, forensic analysis, and threat detection. Experience with security tools such as SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, Qualys).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation is a plus.
