Senior Product Owner

To support a client project, we are looking for an experienced individual as Senior Product Owner. The team develops high-quality products in the data network area and ensures the stability and high performance of the complex, wired telecommunications infrastructure including its automation. In this role, you will take on the typical tasks of a Product Owner, from backlog management, monitoring, to stakeholder management and regular coordination with suppliers and other POs.

Responsibilities

• Assuming responsibility as Product Owner
• Prioritising & managing the team backlog as well as creating the product roadmap
• Conducting intensive and effective stakeholder management for decision-making
• Responsibility for budgeting and financial control as well as communication with suppliers
• Monitoring project progress and accepting product increments
• Ensuring the product backlog so that Scrum teams know exactly what to do

• Experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment is required.
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills are essential.
• Fluency in German and English for effective communication., Must have:
• Proven experience as a Product Owner and knowledge in an agile environment
• Result orientation, high independence, self-motivation as well as resilience and flexibility
• Very good analytical & conceptual skills as well as holistic thinking
• Strong customer-oriented thinking and approach as well as comprehensive product (development) knowledge
• Experience in stakeholder management, especially in collaboration with external suppliers
• Understanding of business management contexts
• Good coordination and assertiveness skills
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written

Nice to have:

• Experience in co-leadership (Scrum Master & Product Owner) in highly networked system landscapes
• Ability to provide orientation even in demanding change phases
