You will work closely with experienced cybersecurity engineers while progressively building ownership of critical security platforms. Your work will directly contribute to the resilience, compliance, and security of our IT environment., The Cyber security Engineer will join the Cybersecurity & AI Services team in a hands-on, deeply technical role focused on the daily operation and administration of our vulnerability management and email security platforms. Additionally, you will support log centralization and security awareness services on a regular basis. Working closely with experienced engineers, you will ensure the reliability, security, and compliance of our cybersecurity infrastructure.
- Operate and monitor vulnerability management and email security platforms on a daily basis, ensuring continuous protection and timely response to threats; support log centralization and security awareness tools as required.
- Progressively assume full system administration responsibility for vulnerability management and email security platforms.
- Detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents, particularly vulnerability- and email-related events.
- Maintain and improve platform configurations, integrations, and automation, with primary ownership of vulnerability management and email security systems.
- Maintain clear documentation, procedures, and technical records to support audit readiness.
- Collaborate closely with cybersecurity team members and IT colleagues to deliver reliable, compliant, and secure services.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes, tooling, and ways of working.
- Stay current on new technologies, CVE advisories, and best practices in vulnerability management and email security.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a comparable field; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
- At least five years of hands-on experience in a technical cybersecurity role.
- Strong understanding of operating systems, networking, and IT infrastructure; essential for taking ownership of vulnerability management services.
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and processes is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with email security platforms, log collection or SIEM tools, and security awareness solutions is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactive, well organized, and motivated to grow into end-to-end platform ownership.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
- Penetration testing experience and scripting or development skills are a plus.
