Job description
The IT Support Specialist (f/m/d) is responsible for providing technical expertise and customer-facing IT support for Beckman Coulter Life Sciences' Cell Health product portfolio. This role serves as the primary interface between customers, sales teams, service organizations, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful integration of our solutions into customer IT environments. The position plays a critical role in identifying customer IT challenges, developing effective workflow solutions, and enabling customers and internal teams to maximize the value of our products.
This position reports to the Senior Manager Field Applications CHC and is part of the Cell Health Commercial Team, working remotely within Europe and supporting customers across the region. This position is fully remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Operate as the central point of contact for IT application questions and technical solutions relating to Cell Health product lines.
- Provide technical and application support to customers, sales teams, and service organizations.
- Visit customer laboratories and collaborate directly with customer IT teams to understand technical requirements and challenges.
- Train sales and service teams on relevant IT concepts, product requirements, and customer workflows.
Requirements
- Experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or in a comparable IT infrastructure support role.
- Proven expertise in Windows client/server environments, Active Directory, SQL databases and networking technologies.
- Understanding of network communication protocols such as SMB or LDAP and the ability to work effectively within customer IT environments.
- Experience in providing technical support directly to customers.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into practical solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Fluent English
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 35% throughout assigned territories, including overnight travel.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to transport and set up demonstration equipment when required.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Life science, diagnostics, biotechnology, or laboratory environments.
- Supporting software and hardware solutions integrated into regulated laboratory infrastructures.
- Delivering technical customer training and field-based technical consultations
- French language
