Job description

We are looking for a Security Architect who is not only able to design secure solutions but also enjoys implementing them. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to make a tangible impact on security across our platforms, cloud environment, and engineering practices.

Your impact and responsibilities

As Security Architect, you will report directly to the Head of Information Security & Compliance and play a key role in strengthening LOGEX's security maturity. This is not a traditional enterprise architecture role focused on creating frameworks and presentations. We are looking for a security practitioner who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, working closely with engineering teams, solving real security challenges, and driving measurable risk reduction. You will work alongside software engineers, data engineers, and platform teams across multiple countries to ensure security is built into everything we do.

Your team

Security Architecture & Standards

  • Define practical and scalable security architecture standards, patterns, and best practices
  • Ensure security requirements can be realistically implemented by engineering teams
  • Drive secure-by-design principles across platforms and applications

Secure Software Development

  • Embed security throughout the SDLC
  • Perform threat modeling and security design reviews
  • Support secure coding practices
  • Implement effective security controls within CI/CD pipelines

Cloud & Platform Security

  • Improve and harden cloud environments and platforms
  • Manage security across identity and access management, networking, secrets management, encryption, and configuration management
  • Partner with engineering teams to strengthen our security posture

Vulnerability Management

  • Identify, prioritize, and drive remediation of security vulnerabilities
  • Work directly with engineers to resolve issues
  • Ensure vulnerabilities are not only discovered but effectively closed

Detection & Incident Response

  • Improve logging, monitoring, and threat detection capabilities
  • Support security incident investigations and response activities
  • Help strengthen operational security processes

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Translate requirements from GDPR, ISO 27001, and customer security standards into practical technical controls
  • Collaborate with Information Security, Legal, and Data Protection teams
  • Support audits and security assurance activities

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in Security Engineering, Security Architecture, or a related security role
  • Proven experience designing and implementing security solutions in modern cloud environments
  • Experience embedding security into development and engineering teams
  • Experience working within regulated environments such as healthcare, finance, or SaaS is a plus

Technical Expertise

  • Strong cloud security knowledge, preferably within Azure and/or GCP
  • Experience with:
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Network security
  • Encryption and secrets management
  • Infrastructure as Code
  • Security tooling within CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Threat modeling
  • Secure coding practices
  • SAST, DAST, and SCA tooling
  • Vulnerability management and remediation
  • Scripting or coding skills (Python, PowerShell, or similar)
  • Good understanding of GDPR, ISO 27001, OWASP, NIST, and related standards

Benefits & conditions

  • 25 vacation days (based on full-time employment) to recharge, with the option to purchase additional days
  • An informal working environment with motivated colleagues
  • The possibility to work in a hybrid setup
  • A laptop and everything you need to set up a comfortable and ergonomic home office
  • Personal and professional development opportunities through our LOGEX Academy
  • Access to our mental health partner, OpenUp
  • Regular after-work drinks and many more social events
