Are you into sports and other outdoor activities? The Alps and Lake Starnberg are within an hour's reach, offering a multitude of recreational options., The Master's Thesis position will support the ongoing R&D activities on on-board implementation and scaling of a jamming robust gNodeB. The successful candidate shall contribute to one or more of the following fields:

  • Sequence Analysis: Investigating the mathematical and statistical properties of different sequence designs in the context of NTN-specific channel conditions.
  • Attack Modeling: Developing simulation models for various pilot-spoofing and jamming scenarios to evaluate their impact on signal integrity.
  • Robustness Characterization: Analyzing how different sequence properties react to malicious interference through various performance metrics.
  • Feature Identification: Identifying unique "signal signatures" or features that can be used to distinguish between legitimate and spoofed signals.
  • Benchmark Development: Providing a comparative evaluation of sequence-based robustness to support the development of on-board detection algorithms.
