Lead technical decisions and contribute to architecture design

- Mentor and support other team members, fostering knowledge sharing
Requirements
We are looking for a Senior Backend Spark Developer responsible for the design, development, and optimization of data processing solutions within the Client Contribution platform. You will play a key role in building scalable and high-performance Big Data pipelines while collaborating across multiple teams.
High English level is required., Minimum 5 years of experience with Apache Spark (Scala or Python)
- Strong experience with Apache Spark (must-have)
- Proficiency in Scala or Python
- Solid SQL knowledge and data modelling skills
- Experience with Azure Databricks and Hive
- Experience working in CI/CD and DevOps environments (Git, GitHub, Sonar, Nexus)
- Agile mindset and experience working in Agile environments
- Strong analytical skills and proactive attitude
- English level B2+ (minimum) and Spanish (at least C1+)
Nice to have:
- Experience with orchestration tools (Control-M, Airflow or similar)
- Knowledge of Hadoop ecosystem
- Interest or experience in AI technologies applied to data engineering, analytics, or automation
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools or contributing to AI-driven data platforms
