- Deep-Dive Troubleshooting: Don't just route issues; open the hood. Triage and resolve Tier-2 internal application bugs by analyzing code behavior, system logs, and data flows.
- Bridge to Core Engineering: Work hand-in-hand with core backend/frontend squads. You'll isolate Tier-3 bugs, assist in database structural changes, and deploy toolsets that keep our global platform stable.
- AI & Automation First: We hate repetitive tasks. You will lean on your tech curiosity and AI-driven tools (like AI coding assistants and LLMs) to automate workflows, build scripts, and optimize our support infrastructure.
- Architect Documentation: Translate complex system behaviors into clean, technical documentation for Tier-1 teams and internal alignment.
Requirements
We are not looking for traditional ticket-closers. We want an Application Support Engineer II with a developer's mindset and a passion for AI-driven efficiency-someone who looks at a Tier-2 bug and wants to read the source code to find out why it broke. Based in our vibrant Valencia hub, you will act as the crucial technical bridge between our internal operations and core Engineering squads.
If you are a junior developer looking for deep system exposure, a tech enthusiast who loves debugging complex architectures, or someone eager to leverage modern AI tools to automate workflows, this is your launchpad into deep engineering or DevOps., You have a natural curiosity for how software breaks, a passion for continuous learning, and you love finding a smarter way to do things using modern tech.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years with a background in software development, technical application support, or a strong programming foundation (Junior Developer profiles are highly welcome!).
- The Developer Mindset: You can read code, understand logic, and navigate databases.
- Our Tech Stack: Our ecosystem runs on Ruby on Rails, Java, and React, backed by MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, and RabbitMQ. (If you have core programming skills in any language and are excited to hack away at these, you're a match).
- AI Curiosity: You actively experiment with AI tools, prompts, or automation scripts to supercharge your efficiency and solve technical puzzles faster.
- Communication: Fluent in English. You'll be collaborating daily with cross-functional engineering teams worldwide.
- Bonus Points: Previous experience in FinTech, the payments industry, or handling database structural changes.
