Location The role is based in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid (Spain). Overview Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Telecommunications & IoT Buyer . The role will be part of a growing and talented Procurement Team and will report directly to the Telecommunications Category Lead. This is a critical role that will contribute to enhancing the procurement function for Group level categories. The role is based in Madrid. category within the Group Indirect procurement function, collaborating, supporting, and influencing business leaders and stakeholders across the entire P2P process, from purchase requisition and negotiation to purchase order. Responsibilities - Primarily manage the Telecommunications category, including IoT services and corporate communications (fixed and mobile lines), both Global and Local services. Other categories include IT related products and services within the Indirect Procurement scope. - Execute the Procurement Plan on categories under your responsibility, maximizing savings in the organization. - Collaborate, support and influence across the entire P2P process, from purchase requisition and negotiation to purchase order. - Gather specifications of products and services required by business areas. - Execute tenders (RFPs), negotiate with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and manage supplier qualification and selection. - Draft contracts and negotiate agreements with suppliers in coordination with Legal counsel and internal stakeholders. - Ensure process and policy compliance. - Lead market and spend analysis. - Develop solutions that meet the organization's needs and deliver results. - Identify and anticipate issues in the execution of projects, implement solutions, and rise to them as necessary. - Identify risks and raise them to Manager. - Follow risk mitigation actions and procedures defined. - Manage issues with suppliers, periodically monitor agreements and supplier performance, and evaluate suppliers in line with the scope of services agreed. - Propose and lead improvements in the Procurement department, processes, and policies. - Report as needed on all areas of responsibility and various internal stakeholders. - Lead procurement conversations with suppliers as needed. - Lead conversations with business areas and IT to communicate, influence, present and discuss the results of each stage of negotiation, keeping the business and suppliers informed of the activities and progress of each category. - Advise the business on the suppliers to be selected and the criteria. - Be a communication channel between business and suppliers. - Represent the business position with suppliers to obtain the most appropriate proposals for internal clients. - Communicate results and progress of the negotiations. Candidate Profile - Experiences and Qualifications - 2 years relevant experience sourcing ideally IoT and Telecommunications products and services, as part of a procurement team in a large organization. Other interesting categories managed in the same department include Software, Hardware, IT Infrastructure, cloud and AI, IT Managed Services and Technical Professional Services. - Experience working in a large and cross-functional procurement team, ideally within a high-growth environment. - University degree, preferably Graduate or Bachelor in Business Administration or Engineering. - Advanced level on Microsoft Office365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and AI/Copilot. - Experience with eProcurement tools (Jaggaer, Ariba, etc.) and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.). Competencies - Leading and executing indirect procurement categories/functions. - High level of negotiation skills. - Organization and coordination skills. - Analytical skills, able to prioritise complex tasks under pressure. - Autonomy managing categories under your supervision. - Experience working in a very busy and dynamic environment. - Customer and people oriented. - Excellent spoken and written
