Position Telecommunications Algorithms Engineer - Algorithms & Data Analyst Developer. Responsibilities - Provide expert support for AXON Networks product features. - Design, develop, and refine algorithms, including troubleshooting and bug fixing. - Drive innovation in managing access networks and set the direction for next-generation software solutions for network access technologies. - Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver transformative products that meet the needs of global ISPs. Requirements - Master's in Telecommunications or a closely related field (PhD is a plus). - Experience working on the physical layer of communication systems. - Knowledge of communication systems and statistical processing. - Knowledge of copper (DSL), fiber (PON) or Wi-Fi technologies is desirable. - Experience collecting, defining tests, analyzing, and reporting data in lab/production environments. - Experience with database languages such as SQL or MongoDB. - Experience with version control systems, such as Git. - Experience in Java software development. - Experience in algorithm analysis. - Familiarity with Linux (as a user) and scripting languages such as Python. - Familiarity with data mining and machine learning algorithms. - Fluency in English and Spanish. - Ability to work in a hybrid setting in Madrid.
