FPGA/Firmware Engineer

FPGAs, including Ultrascale and RFSoC families. Familiarity with Microsemi (Microchip) FPGA devices and toolchains. Proficiency in VHDL, C, and Python for embedded development and test automation. Experience working in Linux-based development environments. Solid understanding of Git for version control and collaborative development. Background in defense and space markets, with awareness of standards such as DO-254, ECSS, or MILSTD. Knowledge of hardware development, including schematic and PCB design using Altium Designer. Preferred Skills Experience with AXI interfaces, JESD204B, PCIe, and other high-speed protocols. Familiarity with embedded processors (ARM, MicroBlaze) and bare-metal or RTOS environments. Understanding of digital signal processing (DSP) and RF system integration. Strong debugging skills using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG tools). Excellent communication and documentation skills. Education ~ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
