We are looking for a Senior Temenos T24 / Transact Developer with strong Architecture experience to join a strategic transformation program within an international private banking environment. You will play a key role in shaping and implementing the target architecture for a major T24 upgrade and transformation initiative. Work model is hybrid in Madrid: 3 days at the office, 2 days remote. We welcome applicants open to relocation. Responsibilities - Define, govern, and implement the T24/Transact target architecture across modules (AA, Securities, Accounting, Interfaces, Payments, Treasury, etc.) - Define and implement componentization strategy aligned with Temenos best practices. - Design, implement, and validate integration patterns, including Kafka-based event streaming. - Support technical design, impact analysis, and remediation activities related to the upgrade. - Ensure performance, resilience, monitoring, security, and non-functional requirements. - Define and review data models, XML structures, COB/EO workflows, and batch architecture. - Support development teams and ensure adherence to architectural standards. - Provide guidance, coaching, and documentation to ensure knowledge transfer. - Manage stakeholders across IT, business, architecture, and external partners. Qualifications - Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or similar. - +12 years of hands-on experience in Temenos T24/Transact, including Solution Architecture roles. - Proven experience in large-scale T24 upgrade programs. - Strong knowledge of: core banking architecture patterns, Temenos componentization, AA module, Securities, Accounting, complex integration design. - Solid technical background in: Kafka (architecture and implementation patterns), Java, Python, Oracle DB (performance, SQL, data modeling), XML, version control, and DevOps tools. - Strong understanding of end-to-end banking processes. - Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills. - Ability to create structured technical documentation. - Strong communication skills and experience in multicultural environments. - Fluent English (spoken and written): B2+/C1. Nice to have - Experience in Wealth Management / Private Banking. - Exposure to cloud architectures or containerization in Temenos environments. - Knowledge of TripleA, OFS, REST, or modern integration frameworks.
