Are you a hands-on individual looking for a career in a high-growth, specialized industry? Auto.Works is a market leader in the design, supply, and installation of bespoke car photography studios. From automated turntables to high-spec lighting arrays and fabric walls, we build the environments to help our customers showcase their vehicles for sale., You will be an integral part of our installation teams, working on-site at dealerships, prep centres and auctions houses. Your responsibilities will include:
- Mechanical Assembly: Assisting in the build of heavy-duty vehicle turntables and studio frames.
- Technical Installation: Installing turntable control systems, specialist lighting, cameras, and IT equipment.
- Site Preparation: Assisting with initial survey, setting out, and ensuring a clean, professional finish.
- Problem Solving: Working with senior engineers to overcome unique on-site challenges.
- Maintenance: Carrying out service and repair existing studio installations.
Office/ Workshop
· Preparation of equipment and materials for installations.
· Assembly of products.
· Documentation of work carried out
· Preparation of documents for installation
· Support of client hardware issues via online ticket system
Requirements
You don't need a degree in engineering to apply, but you do need a "can-do" attitude and a practical mechanical mindset.
- Work ethic: You're eager to learn and aren't afraid of long days or hard work and have an eye for detail.
- Practical Skills: You're competent using hand and power tools Engineering/ electrical site installation experience or have a background in trades.
- CAD/ Drawing familiarity: Can read schematics/ setting out drawings. Wider experience in CAD would be beneficial.
- Full UK Driving Licence and confident driving up to 3.5t Vans: This is essential. You'll be moving between sites frequently.
- Adaptability: You must be comfortable regularly working away (accommodation and subsistence provided).
- Team Player: You'll be working closely with a tight-knit crew where communication is key., We are a fast-growing company that prefers to promote from within. We want to train the next generation of Senior Site Engineers and Project Managers.

Pay: £34,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
