Job description
- Investigate complex customer issues.
- Develop and optimise SQL solutions.
- Deliver customer-specific enhancements.
- Build reports and dashboards.
- Provide technical expertise across the business.
- Review database changes, stored procedures, and SQL code before deployment.
- Ensure solutions are robust, performant, and maintainable.

Requirements
- Strong commercial experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Excellent knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, views, functions, and query optimisation.
- Experience investigating complex software and database issues.
- Experience developing reports and customer data extracts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience reviewing technical work or mentoring colleagues.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience supporting SaaS applications.
- Knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning and indexing.
- Experience with Power BI or other reporting platforms.
- Experience with APIs, integrations or ETL processes.
- Familiarity with source control and change management processes.
- Knowledge of workforce management, compliance or operational software.
