Job description

  • Provide technical leadership and line management to a small Systems Integration Services team
  • Work within multidisciplinary project teams, liaising with technology and business stakeholders at all levels
  • Take responsibility for the Talend platform
  • Lead the design, architecture, build, and implementation of new system integrations
  • Standardise existing integrations
  • Lead the planning, design, development, implementation, and support of new systems integrations
  • Ensure integrations are based on strategic and architectural principles and comply with technical and security standards
  • Lead complex integration projects and drive continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Significant experience designing, building, and supporting application and data integration platforms
  • Proven experience working within a large-scale, complex environment
  • Experience working as a technical lead
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data integration platforms, such as Talend, Microsoft, or MuleSoft
  • Extensive experience using web services and APIs to access and integrate external and internal systems
  • Ability to analyse and translate business requirements into solution designs for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience programming in languages such as SQL, Java, C, and .NET
  • Experience creating short-, medium-, and long-term plans and roadmaps
  • Knowledge of public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
  • Good understanding of modular, microservices architectures
  • Experience and understanding of agile delivery and DevOps
