• Security, We are seeking a highly capable Lead Data Platform Engineer to support a major UK Government client in a UK hybrid role based on a secure site. • We require strong experience in Java development, including Core Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• We require proven experience building distributed backend systems.
• We require hands-on experience with Kafka or similar streaming platforms.
• We require experience with Scala and Apache Spark for data processing.
• We require integration experience with backend services such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and S3 or equivalent object storage.
• We require expertise in modern engineering practices, including continuous delivery, clean code principles, automated testing and TDD, code reviews, and documentation.
• We require experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
• We require proficiency with Git-based source control such as GitHub or GitLab.
• We require experience working with Big Data technologies.
• We require strong hands-on experience with AWS or other public cloud platforms.
• We require current SC clearance.
• We require eligibility and willingness to obtain DV clearance.
• We prefer experience designing and operating high-throughput, real-time data platforms.
