Job description

  • Own the roadmap and backlog for an internal Data Platform built on Databricks and Microsoft Azure
  • Translate business requirements into a clear, prioritised delivery plan
  • Work closely with engineering teams, architects and wider business stakeholders
  • Drive the delivery of scalable, well-governed data services
  • Shape delivery frameworks and improve platform operations
  • Ensure environment meets expectations around reliability, security, compliance and data quality
  • Engage in roadmap planning, stakeholder engagement, and KPI tracking

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Product Management / Product Ownership within data, analytics or integration environments
  • Strong knowledge of modern data architectures including Lakehouse, medallion and API-driven models
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Databricks
  • Strong understanding of data pipelines, integration services and analytics-enabling datasets
  • Agile delivery experience including backlog ownership, sprint planning and roadmap management
  • Ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders and influence without direct authority
  • Solid grounding in data governance, data quality, lineage and compliance
  • Confident communicator able to translate technical complexity into clear business language
