Contract Solution Architect | SC/DV | Outside IR35
London (3 days onsite) £600-£650 per day 3-4 Year Programme (6 month rolling) SC Cleared (DV or willing to undergo DV preferred)
We're looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join a major government programme delivering secure, mission-critical infrastructure and new technology services.
You'll be responsible for designing end-to-end technical solutions, producing high and low-level designs, presenting to Technical Design Authority, and working closely with engineering teams to deliver secure platforms in highly classified environments. We're looking for experience in:
- Solution Architecture within secure Government or Defence environments
- VMware Cloud Foundation (vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX-T, Aria)
- Private & Hybrid Cloud
- Infrastructure migrations and transformation
- High availability, resilience & disaster recovery
- F5, NGINX or VMware Avi load balancing
- Microsoft & Linux platforms
- Zero Trust/Secure Infrastructure design
- Strong stakeholder engagement and governance experience
Desirable: OpenStack, Kubernetes, IaC, VMware Horizon, CI/CD, NSX Networking.
