SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect

• Define end-to-end target architectures and long-term blueprints for hybrid cloud and on-premise landscapes.
• Design conversion paths, phased rollouts, and coexistence frameworks between legacy SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Architect resilient, scalable, and real-time integration flows using SAP CPI / Integration Suite.
• Evaluate legacy custom code in SAP ECC and create strategies to decouple or remediate it.
• Oversee secure ecosystem connectivity using OData APIs, RESTful web services, and Cloud Connector.
• Lead technical assessments, code reviews, and infrastructure configurations to maintain system health.
• Align technical solutions with core business operations across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality.
• Integrate core SAP functions with third-party enterprise platforms such as PLM, CAD, MES, and MRO.
• Ensure all designed solutions adhere to AS9100 quality standards, ITAR, and global export control laws.
• Design system logic to manage high-consequence data, including engine part serialization and life-limited component tracking.
• Champion standard-first governance and use SAP BTP for application extensions to eliminate core modifications.
• Bring modern DevOps pipelines, Agile frameworks, and SAP Activate methodologies into the project lifecycle.
• Translate complex architectural choices into clear business value for executives.
• Lead, mentor, and align global delivery teams, functional analysts, and development partners toward a unified vision.

• ERP, We are seeking a visionary Senior SAP Solution Architect to shape our future enterprise solution. Based in Cardiff in a hybrid working setup, this is an inside IR35 contract or fixed-term opportunity. You will help define the roadmap for our digital transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, supporting our aviation engine manufacturing and design operations while promoting a clean core architecture through SAP Business Technology Platform and Cloud Integration. This role offers the chance to work across a complex multi-system environment in a highly regulated aerospace setting, collaborating with global teams and technical partners.

• Minimum 8-10 years of SAP architecture and consulting experience in large enterprise environments.
• Proven architectural experience within Aerospace & Defence, high-tech manufacturing, or aviation engine sectors.
• Proven delivery of full-lifecycle implementations for both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Hands-on proficiency with SAP BTP environments, including Cloud Foundry, Kyma, CAP, and SAPUI5/Fiori.
• Deep knowledge of building secure integration topologies in SAP CPI / Integration Suite.
• Exposure to relevant SAP modules and solutions such as PLM, Production Planning, Quality Management, or MRO.
• Advanced proficiency with OData APIs, RESTful web services, and Cloud Connector.
• Solid grasp of SAP Activate, Agile frameworks, and cloud-native DevOps pipelines.
