Remote Senior Backend Engineer - Alerting

• We are looking for candidates in the UK for this remote opportunity.
• You should have solid experience with at least one programming language; we use Go, and familiarity with Python, Java, C++, Rust, or similar is also relevant.
• You should have some experience delivering projects from gathering requirements and brainstorming ideas through to shipping a product to customers in a self-driven way.
• You should have some experience developing software that runs in the cloud or some experience with systems engineering.
• You should have experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easy for others to maintain.
• You should be a motivated self-starter with a bias toward action.
• You should be customer focused and passionate about creating intuitive products that meet customer needs.
• You should be able to break down complex challenges into modular solutions and work iteratively with short feedback loops.
• You should have strong collaboration and communication skills for a fully remote team environment.
• You should be independent and comfortable working in a remote-first engineering organization.

This is a remote Senior Backend Engineer, Alerting role on our Grafana Alerting squad, and we are interested in applications from the UK. The UK compensation range for this role is GBP 91,755 to GBP 110,106, and the role also includes RSUs.
