Job description

Every website we design is driven by strategy, built to convert, and designed to become the foundation of a client's long-term marketing success. As our agency continues to grow, we're looking for a talented Website Designer & Developer to join our team and play an important role in delivering exceptional digital experiences.

Initially, this position will be part-time, offering flexibility while our client base continues to expand. Our goal is for this role to develop into a full-time position as the agency grows.

About the role

You'll be responsible for designing and developing high-quality WordPress websites from concept through to launch. Working closely with the agency director, you'll help transform business goals into engaging, high-performing websites that deliver outstanding user experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the creative and technical aspects of website production and wants to be part of a growing agency where their ideas and contribution will genuinely make a difference., * Design modern, engaging and user-focused websites using Adobe Creative Cloud.

  • Build responsive WordPress websites using Elementor.
  • Create intuitive user journeys and conversion-focused page layouts.
  • Develop websites that are fast, accessible and optimised for search engines.
  • Integrate forms, CRM systems and marketing platforms where required.
  • Ensure websites perform consistently across desktop, tablet and mobile devices.
  • Maintain high standards of quality assurance through testing and refinement.
  • Support ongoing website updates, enhancements and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to deliver projects on time and to an exceptional standard.
  • Contribute ideas that improve our design processes, user experience and overall client offering.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Excellent WordPress development experience.
  • Advanced Elementor knowledge.
  • Strong UI and UX design skills.
  • Ability to take a website from initial concept through to launch.
  • Good understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience creating responsive, mobile-first websites.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • A portfolio demonstrating high-quality website design and development.

Desirable

  • JavaScript and PHP knowledge.
  • Experience with HubSpot and CRM integrations.
  • Knowledge of technical SEO and website performance optimisation.
  • Experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Motion graphics or animation experience.
  • Previous experience within a digital marketing agency.
