Job description
- Use technologies such as Terraform and Kubernetes to provision and configure servers and networks, and to automate application lifecycles
- Use Datadog and other observability tools to monitor application performance
- Implement new ways of working and help shape how the organisation responds to and recovers from incidents
- Take ownership of incident resolution
- Help reduce key reliability metrics including MTTR, incident frequency, and on-call toil
- Work on an on-call rota and respond to incidents during assigned periods
- Identify opportunities for automation and help implement changes that improve reliability

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar cloud, infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering role within a customer-facing environment such as SaaS or MSP
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure and on-premise virtual machines
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Terraform
- Experience with container orchestration such as Kubernetes or AKS
- Experience with monitoring and observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Azure Monitor
- Ability to implement new processes and tools and drive adoption across development and support teams
- Strong communication skills across internal teams and external customers
- Skilled in networking across both cloud and on-premise environments
- Windows or Linux systems administration skills, with Linux preferred
- Previous use of AI tools to improve efficiency
