Job description

  • Lead and manage development projects from inception to delivery.
  • Run product-level teams as a Scrum Lead.
  • Collaborate with software developers, architects, quality assurance engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to support communication, collaboration, and project goals.
  • Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues.
  • Track project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Record, track, and report on hours worked by employees and contractors across tasks and projects.
  • Maintain open communication with customers and provide regular project updates.
  • Create and maintain project documentation, including plans, status reports, and change requests.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to optimise project management methodologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the software engineering domain, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional self-development.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
  • PRINCE2 qualification is desirable.
  • The role is subject to employment screening and requires security clearance up to DV level.
