Job description
- Lead and manage development projects from inception to delivery.
- Run product-level teams as a Scrum Lead.
- Collaborate with software developers, architects, quality assurance engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to support communication, collaboration, and project goals.
- Identify and proactively manage project risks and issues.
- Track project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Record, track, and report on hours worked by employees and contractors across tasks and projects.
- Maintain open communication with customers and provide regular project updates.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including plans, status reports, and change requests.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to optimise project management methodologies.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the software engineering domain, with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional self-development.
- Positive, can-do attitude.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
- PRINCE2 qualification is desirable.
- The role is subject to employment screening and requires security clearance up to DV level.
