  • Fullstack, We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (Java) to join our digital transformation team on a UK-based remote contract inside IR35 for a 12-month programme, offering £490 per day. The role sits within a Government Digital Service-aligned environment and requires BPSS / SC clearance or eligibility to undergo clearance. We act as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for temporary workers.

Requirements

  • We require strong core Java 11 experience, including Spring Boot and Maven.
  • We require practical experience designing and deploying microservices.
  • We require experience with event-driven architecture and messaging or streaming tools such as ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, or Apache Kafka.
  • We require experience routing and securing APIs using API Gateway, including Kong.
  • We require high proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • We require strong experience with Node.js and ReactJS.
  • We require UI development experience using Nunjucks or Freemarker.
  • We require hands-on experience with AWS hosting and services.
  • We require experience using Git, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and SonarQube for continuous integration and code quality management.
  • We require eligibility for full BPSS and SC clearance.
  • We require a background in Central Government full stack development, including work with GDS.
