Requirements

We are looking for a Front End/WordPress Web Developer to join us at eclipse marketing in Chester - if you enjoy problem solving and variety with everyday challenges, this could be the role for you.

All we ask is that you come with a wide range of knowledge and skills covering all aspects of web development. You could be presenting to a client one minute and working closely with the design team the next, to ensure effective solutions fit the client's brief.

A sense of humour, enthusiasm and a 'can do' attitude is essential, as is exceptional attention to detail.

You will also need to work efficiently alone and as part of a team., * Have worked on site builds using WordPress with a range of examples

  • Have solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, PHP8, Javascript, JQuery, Foundation/Bootstrap, SASS
  • Naturally curious and creative, with an interest in modern web trends, UX best practices and finding innovative solutions to client challenges.
  • Be smart, prompt, dedicated and have a desire to learn and improve
  • Have a good understanding of Core Web Vitals, technical best practices, and be be confident troubleshooting website issues
  • Experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager and other website tracking implementations would also be beneficial
  • Have a keen eye for detail and produce work to a high standard
  • Have good communication skills and be able to work in a team
  • Understand code optimisation techniques
  • Be familiar with version control
  • Have an awareness of coding standards
  • Be able to manage your time effectively and provide accurate estimates
