Job description

Are you a passionate and experienced Scrum Master looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic and innovative environment? Join our team at Legal & General Retail within IT & Change and lead our scrum teams to success! As a Scrum Master, you will be accountable for delivering scrum outcomes that meet business objectives, guiding and mentoring teams through complex and diverse projects.   • Leading and mentoring scrum teams in a range of complex and diverse projects
  • Reviewing Agile project deliveries and guiding the team to ensure timely, successful delivery of requirements
  • Building a constructive working environment to resolve issues as a team
  • Leading team communication, focusing on improving transparency and ensuring the right information reaches the right people
  • Collaborating closely with the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog
  • Supporting the team to deliver complex Agile projects, removing impediments to their work whenever encountered
  • Working closely with IT Technical Architects and IT Cloud Infra Architect to build and maintain applications in Azure cloud environments
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for knowledge sharing and training

Requirements

  • Experience or familiar with automated testing, pair programming and continuous delivery
  • Knowing Test-Driven / Behaviour-Driven Development methods and frameworks
  • Using CI / CT / DevOps tools and technologies
  • Ideally SAFE qualified however others are acceptable dependent on your level of capability, it is essential to have experience in a methodology, whether working within or implementing
  • Understanding established and emerging technologies and their contribution to delivering successful business outcomes
  • Understanding the Business Change cycle from inception to implementation, including the organization of Change initiatives, e.g., Sponsors and Steering Committees
  • Working in a professional IT environment, ideally in the insurance or financial services sector
