SC Cleared Linux Engineer - London 3 days and 2 days remote - Contract - Inside IR35
TrinIT Talent are looking for an experienced Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join our client on an initial 6-month contract. This role is based in London 3 days a week and 2 days remote and falls Inside scope of IR35. Daily rate is £400 a day.
Job Description:-
Working as part of the infrastructure team, you will support the delivery, administration and continuous improvement of enterprise Linux platforms. The role combines BAU support with project-based work, including platform upgrades, automation and infrastructure optimisation.
Key Skills:-
MUST HAVE VALID AND ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE THAT WILL BE TRANSFERRED
- Strong experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7-10).
- Experience performing RHEL upgrades (LEAPP desirable).
- Scripting experience (Bash, Python or similar) for automation.
- VMware virtualisation experience.
- Administration of Red Hat Satellite.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Experience working within an ITIL environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
- JBoss, Puppet, Linux clustering, Kerberos/AD integration, Cisco UCS and Disaster Recovery.
