Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Salesforce programme as a Salesforce Release Manager, where you will be a key contributor to optimising and streamlining our development and release processes. You will take the lead in designing, maintaining, and enhancing our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using the Copado platform. This is a chance to work in a supportive, collaborative atmosphere, where you can continuously hone your skills and champion efficient, governed release management., * Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using the Copado DevOps platform, configuring pipelines, environments, and system integrations.
- Champion and enforce best practices for version control, branching strategies, and automated deployments.
- Manage and administer Salesforce environments within the Copado framework, ensuring effective data masking and seeding strategies.
- Leverage Copado's features for monitoring Salesforce application performance and deployments, and configure alerts and dashboards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues, environment problems, and performance bottlenecks related to the Copado pipeline.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated testing frameworks and create release notes for each deployment.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with the Salesforce platform, with a strong understanding of its metadata.
- Significant hands-on experience with the Copado DevOps platform, including setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- A strong grasp of version control systems, particularly Git, and their integration with Copado.
- Familiarity with Salesforce DX, the SFDX CLI, and automation scripting (e.g., Shell, Python).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A strong desire to learn, experiment, and continuously improve in a hands-on, collaborative setting.
