• Security, We are seeking a hands-on Solution Architect for an immediate 6-month contract inside IR35 to support a critical public sector platform in Scotland. This is a Glasgow hybrid role with 3 days onsite required. We need someone who can combine high-level architectural leadership with practical technical expertise, working closely with engineering teams to deliver robust solutions in a fast-moving environment. Candidates with active SC clearance are strongly preferred, and we offer the opportunity to contribute to a high-priority programme with broad exposure across architecture, governance, cloud, infrastructure, and secure design.

• We require strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• We require hands-on experience in technical and solution architecture across both agile and waterfall delivery.
• We require a broad understanding of Microsoft and Linux technologies across physical, virtual, and containerised environments.
• We require experience with both software (COTS) and infrastructure design, including data centre environments.
• We require experience defining technical standards, roadmaps, and blueprints across services.
• We require cloud expertise across major providers, including Azure, AWS, GCP, and Oracle.
• We require experience with infrastructure as code, governance, and cost optimisation.
• We strongly prefer candidates with active SC clearance.
• We prefer experience designing solutions for sensitive or secure environments.
• We prefer experience applying zero trust principles and embedding security into all phases of solution design.
• We prefer experience with identity and access management, including privileged access.
• We prefer experience with software-defined data centres and virtualisation technologies.
