Job description

As a Data Engineering Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and maintenance of data solutions that enable business teams to make informed decisions. Working within a collaborative data engineering environment, you will help build and optimise data pipelines, ensure data quality and reliability, support data migration and integration activities, and contribute to delivering scalable, cloud-based data solutions. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders while continuously developing your expertise in modern data engineering tools, platforms, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data querying, transformation, automation, and analysis.
  • Good understanding of data engineering principles, including ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling, data warehousing, and data quality management.
  • Experience working with Git, cloud-based data platforms, and modern data technologies, with exposure to CI/CD practices.
  • Experience working with modern cloud-based data platforms, data transformation frameworks, and scalable data engineering solutions is desirable. The ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly is important.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive approach to learning, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
