Job description
- Design and evaluate AI/ML models tailored to our use cases, such as tax AI bots and Copilot extensions
- Prepare and manage structured and unstructured datasets to ensure quality inputs for training and evaluation
- Build and deploy AI features into our systems and workflows using tools like Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and Power Platform
- Deliver automation solutions that streamline operations and reduce manual effort across Tax, Assurance, and Advisory practices
- Work closely with IT, business stakeholders, and data governance teams to identify use cases and ensure solutions align with our goals
- Rapidly prototype AI solutions, test emerging tools, and recommend best practices for adoption
- Apply responsible AI practices to ensure models are accurate, explainable, and compliant with our standards
- Embed AI tools and models into our day-to-day operations so they deliver real business value at scale
- Shape the processes, tools, and standards for our new AI-focused development team

Requirements
- Strong background in machine learning, data science, and applied AI
- Proficiency with Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Microsoft ecosystem tools
- Experience building chatbots, copilots, or similar AI-driven automation
- Solid programming skills in Python and SQL
- Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a plus
- Experience preparing datasets and building ML pipelines
- Familiarity with product development lifecycles and agile delivery practices
- Security-conscious mindset with knowledge of data protection best practices, especially when working with sensitive or regulated data
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into AI solutions
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts simply to stakeholders
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- At least 5 years of related work experience
- At least 1 year of applied AI experience
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure
- Familiarity with frameworks and libraries such as OpenAI SDK, Azure AI SDK, LangChain, and Pandas
- Knowledge of enterprise data governance, compliance, and responsible AI practices
- Prior experience in professional services such as accounting or consulting is a plus
- Ability to work independently or in collaborative, cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities and emerging technologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing clear documentation, training materials, and presentations
- Ability to research new AI tools, frameworks, and industry trends and apply them to practical business use cases
- Customer- and colleague-focused mindset
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
- Persistent and results-oriented with a track record of seeing projects through to completion
