Job description

  • Take ownership of existing PHP/Laravel projects, including regular updates, bug fixes, and performance improvements
  • Build new features and modules to support client needs, using FilamentPHP for admin panels and internal tools
  • Work across the full stack, from MySQL database management to front-end UI updates in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Troubleshoot issues reported by the team or clients and implement long-term tests and fixes
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and work closely with our creative and PR teams
  • Maintain critical systems that support our clients operations
  • Help ensure our digital tools are functional, robust, secure, and user-friendly

Requirements

  • Strong commercial experience with modern PHP 8.x and the Laravel framework
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript
  • Experience designing and optimising MySQL databases
  • Comfortable using Git for version control
  • A hard-working, can-do mindset focused on finding solutions
  • Experience building admin panels or tools using FilamentPHP is highly preferred
  • Experience with TailwindCSS, Alpine.js, and Livewire is a significant advantage
  • Basic knowledge of Linux server administration or deployment processes such as GitHub CI/CD
  • Collaborative team player who supports colleagues and communicates well with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to interpret client requirements into an effective task list
  • Appreciation for the automotive industry is a bonus
