Job description
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
- Build and maintain disaster recovery and failover strategies to ensure business continuity
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi, with Terraform or similar also acceptable
- Ensure infrastructure is version-controlled, reusable, and aligned with best practices
- Maintain and enhance existing pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Design and implement modern CI/CD workflows to improve build, test, and deployment processes
- Evaluate and lead potential migration to more mature or scalable tooling platforms
- Integrate security practices into all stages of the development and deployment lifecycle
- Manage and optimise vulnerability scanning tools and processes
- Analyse and prioritise security findings, working with teams to remediate risks
- Act as the primary liaison for external penetration testing providers and internal stakeholders

Requirements
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and architecture
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Pulumi and ideally with C#
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, including Azure DevOps and at least one other such as Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, or Octopus Deploy
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles and DevSecOps practices
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and processes
- Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and implementation
- Experience migrating CI/CD platforms or modernising build systems
- Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
- Understanding of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2
- Experience and understanding of the evolving use of AI in this area and how to apply it
