Job description
Insight Global is looking to add a Network Engineer to their client's Enterprise Network organization. They will be responsible for modifying and maintaining configurations across routers and switches within an existing enterprise environment, with a strong focus on improving visibility across the network infrastructure. This includes updating configurations such as access controls and loopback addresses (changing how your device handles or is configured to use its own internal (self-referencing) IP address), as well as supporting the onboarding of network devices into telemetry and monitoring tools to ensure visibility into performance and availability. The role will also involve enabling integration with security scanning tools to help identify vulnerabilities and maintain overall network health.
Requirements
4+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Juniper networking environments
- Strong experience with Cisco routing & switching (Catalyst platforms preferred)
- Experience supporting Cisco wireless environments, including Catalyst Center (DNA Center) and/or Meraki Cloud
- Solid understanding of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
- Experience configuring and managing: Access Control Lists (ACLs) DHCP
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience supporting Cisco wireless environments, including Catalyst Center (DNA Center) and/or Meraki Cloud - BIG PLUS Experience with Infoblox (IP Address Management) Experience with Forescout or other Network Access Control (NAC) tools Experience with Zabbix or similar network monitoring/telemetry tools CCNA certification
