Job description
Responsible to develop state of the art perception algorithms using ADAS sensor information for Drive Assistance Systems from concept phase to production. Responsible for the detailed design of software components and test the software components based on the software architecture and the software requirements within a project. Development (design, implement, test and debug) of perception algorithms using AI/ML/CV for core and/or application specific software requirements for automotive embedded electronic module serial production projects. Development of inference logic in C++ and using ROS or any other middleware environment for rapid testing. Develop software in compliance with a formal ASPICE/CMMi based Global Product Engineering Process (GPEP). Develop portable, reusable and modular software compliant to automotive requirements and design guidelines. Develop (design, implement, test and debug) algorithms for core and/or application specific software requirements for automotive embedded electronic module serial production projects. Verify algorithm at component and bench level in Linux environment. Lead the planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting of all algorithm related activities for various projects. Coordinate the integration of core and/or 3rd party algorithms into an application specific software ECU. Support rest of the functional disciplines with all aspects related to ADAS software/algorithms. Develop and analyze requirements, design, implement, integrate and test C code for automotive production embedded electronic module in the vehicle environment. Perform complex work assignments requiring independent problem solving and decision making, requiring strong software technical competency. Support the planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting of all software related activities for various projects. Prepare reports or correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, or status.
Requirements
Master Degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering or foreign educational equivalent. Two years of experience in the position offered, or in a similar position, such as Machine Learning Engineer. Experience must include conducting thorough performance analyses utilizing Nvidia Nsight Systems and Compute tools to identify I/O and computing bottlenecks and optimize computational efficiency; and improving model efficiency by utilizing neural architecture search, structured sparsity, quantization-aware training, knowledge distillation, and GPU programming.
