Job description

As a ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect, you'll lead the design and implementation of enterprise ServiceNow solutions supporting a critical U.S. Air Force mission. Working onsite at Langley AFB, you'll partner with program leadership, engineers, and government stakeholders to build secure, scalable solutions that improve mission operations across the enterprise. What You'll Do

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise ServiceNow solutions across multiple platform capabilities including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, IRM, SecOps, Strategic Portfolio Management, App Engine, Automation Engine, and CMDB/CSDM.
  • Translate business and mission requirements into scalable technical solutions that align with ServiceNow leading practices and DoD standards.
  • Provide technical leadership to developers, administrators, and engineering teams throughout the design, configuration, implementation, and lifecycle management of the platform.
  • Design and oversee integrations using Integration Hub, REST APIs, and custom integrations.
  • Establish platform governance, architectural standards, and technical documentation that support long-term growth and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, Product Owners, and government stakeholders to support roadmap planning, solution design, backlog refinement, and successful delivery.
  • Evaluate current and future system requirements, balancing mission objectives, technical capabilities, cost, schedule, and operational constraints.
  • Lead ServiceNow platform upgrades and modernization efforts while maintaining platform stability and security.
  • Support network architecture activities including infrastructure planning, network documentation, troubleshooting, and integration with enterprise systems.
  • Provide technical guidance on network technologies, LAN/WAN environments, and security best practices supporting Department of Defense operations. What You'll Need

Requirements

  • High School diploma with 12+ years of relevant experience.

  • 10+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise ServiceNow environments.

  • Experience developing enterprise ServiceNow architecture, platform governance, workflow automation, and solution roadmaps.

  • Strong understanding of the overall ServiceNow platform including App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Predictive Intelligence, CMDB, and CSDM.

  • Experience translating customer requirements into technical architecture and solution designs.

  • Experience leading ServiceNow version upgrades and enterprise platform enhancements.

  • Working knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience with network infrastructure, LAN/WAN technologies, network security, and technical documentation.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with government customers, technical teams, and program leadership.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. Required Certification

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security, or equivalent). Preferred Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA).

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

  • DoD 8570 IASAE Level II certification (CASP+ CE, CISSP, CSSLP, or equivalent).

  • Experience supporting DoD NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS environments.
