Job description
As a Data Analyst, you will own the analytical foundation that the entire company runs on. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Data & IT, you will define what "certified data" means at Hadrian, build the forecasting models that drive planning decisions, and set the standards that let analytics scale across 20+ autonomous factories. This role sits at the intersection of every business function-Finance, Manufacturing Ops, Production Planning, Quality Engineering, and Sales-connecting financial models to factory floor reality.
What You'll Do

Architect and maintain the certified dataset layer in dbt-models, tests, documentation, and SLAs that the entire company trusts

Build forecasting models for demand planning, capacity utilization, delivery risk, and financial projections

Define metric standards: canonical definitions, calculation logic, ownership, and refresh cadence

Perform cross-functional deep dives connecting financial and operational data (e.g., margin erosion vs. throughput changes)

Build scalable reporting frameworks that work at 1 factory and 20
Requirements

Expert SQL including complex window functions, recursive CTEs, query plan analysis, and cost-based optimization

Deep dbt knowledge including advanced macros, custom tests, package development, and CI/CD integration

Experience with Snowflake and/or ClickHouse at scale

Python proficiency (pandas, numpy, scipy, statsmodels)

Statistical rigor: hypothesis testing, regression, time series, and experimental design

Ability to build, validate, and communicate forecast models with proper uncertainty quantification

Strong cross-functional communication-can translate between data and business with any audience

Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, or equivalent

P3: 2-4 years | P4: 4-7 years | P5: 7+ years in analytics, data science, or quantitative roles
What Will Set You Apart

Experience building metric layers (Transform, MetricFlow, or custom)

ClickHouse optimization (materialized views, projections, TTL)

Bayesian methods or causal inference experience

Manufacturing-specific knowledge: SPC, control charts, process capability

Orchestration experience (Dagster, Airflow)

Benefits & conditions
For this role, the target salary range is $140,000-$175,000 (actual range may vary based on experience). This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
