Job description

Join the Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team to help drive Next-Gen Platform capability development and deliver solutions that expand connectivity across Boeing, our suppliers, and our customers within Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S). In this role, you'll collaborate with major application providers and work with Computer-Aided Design/ Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) tool suites. Your primary focus will be supporting data migration, the process of extracting, transforming, validating, and loading data-along with testing and cutover planning., * Develop and maintain software applications using Java, C/C++

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software
  • Create and manage user interfaces with HTML and JavaScript
  • Utilize Microsoft (MS) SQL Server and ORACLE databases for data management and retrieval
  • Implement messaging patterns to enhance application scalability
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Build and integrate complex software tools to enhance the product's reliability and scalability
  • Support the setting up of development and production environments, deployment of application devices
  • Develop best practices/methodologies for provisioning, platform scaling, configuration management, monitoring and troubleshooting

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience using CSS, JavaScript, and HTML
  • 3+ years of experience programming in C, C++ or C#
  • 3+ years of experience developing software solutions in the Java programming language
  • 3+ years of experience working with shell scripting in a Linux/Unix hosting environment
  • 1+ years of experience using PowerShell, * 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience with Windows batch scripting
  • 3+ years experience using JSON
  • Experience in an agile work environment
  • Experience with code management and continuous integration/delivery processes and tools like GitLab, Azure, and DevOps
  • Experience with Angular framework
  • Experience with cloud services and deployment
  • Experience with CAD/CAM Engineering and migrating CAD data to other formats
  • Experience with RESTful API development
  • Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all development roles and levels, with clear calls to action

Summary pay range for Mid-Level: $115,600 - $156,400

Summary pay range for Senior: $141,950 - $192,050
